A very special anniversary was announced today at a press conference:
50 years of Bläck Fööss at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne. For half a century, the cult band has been linked by an extraordinary history to this historic stage on the Rhine.
The Tanzbrunnen has long since become a permanent home for the Bläck Fööss. Generations of fans have experienced unforgettable concert evenings here, singing along and enjoying the special atmosphere of this unique venue.
As a symbol of this long-standing connection, the Bläck Fööss were presented with an anniversary plaque for the Tanzbrunnen Wall of Fame during the press conference. This honors the unique partnership between the artists and the venue—a connection that has been thrilling Cologne audiences for 50 years and has written a significant chapter in music history. How time flies: Back in 2015, the Fööss received a plaque that, at the time, still featured 4 stars.
The big anniversary concert on August 29 promises to be a special evening full of musical memories, Cologne charm, and numerous highlights. In addition to Bläck Fööss, several former members of the band as well as special guests are expected to join the fans in celebrating this extraordinary anniversary.

The entire concert will be interpreted into sign language by Aline Ackers—and this goes beyond just the song lyrics: musical style, instruments, rhythm, volume, and audience reactions are all incorporated into the sign language interpretation.
