of Koelncongress GmbH as of 1 November 2022.

Ralf Nüsser (58) is to become the new Managing Director of Koelncongress GmbH as of 1 November 2022. The Authorised Signatory and Senior Vice President will thus be succeeding founding Managing Director Bernhard Conin (68), who has always defined himself as a "host of hosts" and will continue to serve the company until the end of February 2023 following 44 years of service. The long-time companions Conin and Nüsser will together shape the transition of the congress, event and guest event business, which is so important for the Cologne location.

Originally trained as a travel management assistant, Ralf Nüsser joined Koelnmesse's Congress department as a consultant in 1989. In 1997, he transferred to the company's newly founded subsidiary Koelncongress as Vice President Congress Centre Koelnmesse and Gürzenich. Most recently, Mr Nüsser has held the position of Authorized Signatory responsible for the guest fairs section as well as for the Congress Centres, Gürzenich, Flora and Tanzbrunnen. He had also been in charge of Koelnmesse's Protocol section since 2000.

Ralf Nüsser has 33 years of hands-on experience, comprehensive know-how and the best connections in the congress and event sector. With an eye to the future, he will be continuing and furthering the successful integrated marketing of guest fairs, congresses and events from a single source.
