Two years after its opening, Confex has firmly established itself both within Koelnmesse's portfolio and as a key event venue in Cologne. To date, it has hosted 72 events with a total of 108,000 attendees. Across 125 event days, each event welcomed an average of around 1,500 attendees. Confex not only strengthens Cologne's position as a leading trade fair and congress destination but also generates significant economic benefits for the city's hotel industry, hospitality sector, and local businesses. As a key component of Cologne's event infrastructure, Confex plays a major role in attracting international congresses, conferences, and corporate events to the city, thereby helping to secure the destination's long-term competitiveness.
