The company was formed from the merger of the renowned companies KölnKongress GmbH and Koelnmesse Ausstellungen GmbH, and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koelnmesse GmbH.

By pooling its expertise, Koelncongress has further strengthened its position as one of the most important event service providers in the Cologne region. Based on the experience and know-how of over 30 years in business, an extensive portfolio of varied locations and the conceptual strength of a full-service partner, the company offers its customers and guest organisers tailor-made solutions for individual requirements from a single source.

A well-coordinated team of 55 event professionals supports Koelncongress customers and business partners in realising the visions they have for their events. Whether the event is on-site, digital or hybrid, the team ensures that every detail is perfectly coordinated and leads to success. Koelncongress GmbH organises around 1,700 events in its business units Guest Fairs, Congresses & Meetings, Corporate Events, and Social Events, Culture & Concerts at its venues each year.

Koelncongress operates and markets a variety of event venues in Cologne’s city centre. The portfolio ranges from the trade fair grounds to the Koelnmesse Congress Centres, the medieval Gürzenich and the Flora in the Botanical Gardens to Cologne’s traditional Tanzbrunnen site, which also includes the Theater am Tanzbrunnen, the Rheinterrassen and the km 689 Cologne Beach Club located right the bank of the Rhine.
